How to make beetroot raita
Ingredients for beetroot raita
- Tender beetroot – 1 medium
- Fresh yogurt – 1 cup
- Table salt or rock salt – 1/4 tsp or according to taste
- Fresh Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
- Optional ingredients
You may add these optional ingredients for variation to this raita. Tempering is optional.
- Onion chopped fine – 1 tbsp
- carrot finely grated – 1 tbsp
- Roasted peanut powder – 1/ tbsp
- Chopped garlic – 1 clove
- Green chili chopped finely – 1
- For tempering
- Vegetable oil – 1 tsp
- Jeera cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
